Madeline Harms and Ted Romero tied for top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Perimeter Trail at the end of Range Road. They were 7 seconds off their predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Edith Acosta with a 14 second differential; 3 year old Aster Zavorka recording 18 seconds off; Kayla Korsek at 26 seconds off as well as the first female finisher in the 5K trail distance at 28:38; and a three way tie at 34 seconds including Tomas Karella, Adrian Medin, and Chris Michel.
In the 1 mile paved race 8 year old Ivana Velechovsky was the top finisher with a time of 12:33 and 3 year old Max Davis was the first male at 29:47.
Warren Scoggins came in first recording a 27:38 on the 2 mile trail course and Chloe Keilers was the best female at 28:03.
On the 5K trail race Paul Geimer recorded a 23:13 for first place.
Next week’s race will be held on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 at 6:00 PM and will start at the trail just behind the Aquatic Center on Canyon Road. 1 mile paved, 1 mile and 5K trail runs will be available.
