Mark your calendars for our Central Committee meeting on Thursday, August 20th, 2026, 6 p.m. at Open Door Bible Church.   

Are you worried about Los Alamos County building a mass surveillance system that infringes on your basic rights and freedoms?   Please come to the Council Chambers on August 27th, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., to make your voices heard!   

I was very disappointed in Councilor Theresa Cull’s vote for the Plastic Bag Ban Ordinance, even after our Environmental Sustainability Board recommended against it.   

On a positive note, the Faith and Community Series free movie will be “Sound of Freedom” tomorrow, August 8th, 4 p.m. at SALA Event Center.
