Los Alamos Public Schools is hosting a Job Fair on Tuesday, August 4 from noon to 4 pm in the School Boardroom located at 2075 Trinity Drive. Anyone interested may complete an application online or on site. Interviews will be held onsite during this time.

Interested applicants are encouraged to register ahead of time using this link or click on the QR code. LAPS is hiring Educational Assistants at all school sites for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for parents who want to work during school hours and then be home when the kids are not in school. Instructional Assistants (IAs) have the same holidays as students.

Starting pay is $19.13 per hour. There is also a $3,000 stipend available for full-time middle and high school Educational Assistant positions. Educational Assistants are on a 193-day contract. Positions are also available in the Business Services department, including an Assistant Business Manager, Comptroller, Accounts Payable Specialist and Purchasing Specialist.
