Eliverio Acosta Is Top Predictor In July 21 Pace Race

Eliverio Acosta was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the trail across  from the Laboratory “S” site on West Jemez Road.  He was 6 seconds off his predicted time.  Other accurate predictors were:  Deana Tsang with a 30 second differential; Kenneth Biegalski recording a 32 second difference; Chris Michel at 35 seconds off; and Tony Borek with a 37 second differential.

On the 1 mile trail course 8 year old Ivana Velechovsky  was the best finisher at 17:03 and 3 year old Max Davis was the first male with a time of 28:18.

Toni Batha was first on the 2 mile paved course recording a 26:15.

In the 2 mile trail distance Eric Davis was the top finisher with a 21:43.

Hubert Szabat came in first on the 3 mile paved race with a time of 25:00 and Lynn Bjorklund was the best female at 26:56.

On the 3 mile trail distance Lukas Zavorka recorded a 23:04 for top finisher Sanna Sevanto was the first female at 30:43.

Next week’s race will be held on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at 6:00 PM at East Park next to the County Animal Shelter on East Road (State Route # 502).  1, 2, and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
