Los Alamos County’s Community Development Department will host a free Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Workshop for homeowners on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fire Station 3, located at 129 NM4 in White Rock. 

Homeowners can meet with staff from the Department’s Building and Planning teams to discuss potential home improvement projects, ask questions about permits, and get guidance on the benefits of hiring a licensed contractor or completing work themselves. Projects may range from small additions to installing a new fence or carport.
