COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Los Alamos County has dirt material available on DP Road at no cost for property owners, contractors, and developers for site improvements and construction-related activities including grading, drainage, erosion control, backfill, site stabilization and other property development purposes.

Material Availability Requirements:

• Material is provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Pickup is limited to vehicles capable of hauling approximately 5 cubic yards per load minimum.
• Recipients are responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to load and haul the material.
• County staff will not assist with loading operations.
• All recipients must complete and sign a DP Road Storage Yard / Fill Material Request and Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement prior to receiving material.
• Material availability is subject to County operations and may be limited or discontinued at any time.
