Just two candidates filed for office with the Los Alamos County Clerk Thursday, June 25 during minor party/independent filing day.
Libertarian James Wernicke of Los Alamos filed for the County Assessor’s position meaning he will face off with Democrat Jeff Casalina in the November general election.
Libertarian Chris Luchini of White Rock has filed for County Council and joins other candidates, Democrats Theresa Cull, David Hampton, Steven Lynne and Melanee Hand as well as Republicans Jason Chappell and Eric Stromberg. There are four Council seats to be filled.
