SALA Los Alamos Event Center invites the community to enjoy a month filled with movies, special screenings, community events, and family-friendly entertainment throughout July 2026. From new theatrical releases and classic films to free programs and World Cup viewing, SALA continues its mission of bringing people together through arts, entertainment, and shared experiences.
The month features a strong lineup of New Reels screenings every Friday to Sunday, sponsored by Casa Los Alamos. Returning favorites Toy Story 5 and Supergirl continue their runs July 3–5, while upcoming releases include Minions & Monsters, Obsession, Masters of the Universe, Moana, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Moviegoers can also enjoy the popular Classics Series, sponsored by Wiemann Wealth, with screenings every Saturday at 6:30 PM. July’s selections include Stand By Me, Rear Window, Jaws, and National Lampoon’s Vacation, offering audiences the opportunity to experience beloved films on the big screen.
In addition to regular movie programming, SALA will host several free and special community events throughout the month. Date Night returns on July 2 at 6:00 PM with a screening of The Lego Movie. Families can enjoy PJ’s & Movies featuring The Wild Robot on July 4 at 9:00 AM, while the Faith and Community Series presents I Still Believe on July 11 at 4:00 PM. The Parallel Cinema series continues July 18 at 6:00 PM with La Educación Prohibida (The Forbidden Education), and National Theatre Live brings a screening of Les Liaisons Dangereuses on July 23 and 26 at 6:30 PM.
Community partnerships remain an important part of SALA’s programming. On July 19 at 6:30 PM, SALA and the Los Alamos History Museum will present a free screening of Night at the Museum as part of the Sunday Night at the Movies series. SALA also continues to host weekly services for High Desert Church at 10 AM and Atomic City United Pentecostal Church at 3 PM every Sunday. LAMC Urology Seminar – Urology From A–Z Monday, July 20 at 6:00 PM. Join Los Alamos Medical Center for a free community seminar on urologic health featuring Kenneth Son, MD, and William Mustas, PA. Enjoy refreshments, meet local healthcare experts, and learn more about maintaining your urologic health. Free admission. RSVP by scanning the QR code on the ticket site.
The excitement of international soccer continues at SALA through July 19 with World Cup on the Big Screen. Community members are invited to watch matches free of charge in a theater setting while enjoying concessions, pizza, and beer and wine service during select games. Match schedules and viewing times are subject to change.
Beyond its movie and event offerings, SALA continues to provide a variety of experiences for visitors. Guests can explore immersive VR Escape Rooms designed for families, friends, and team-building groups. The venue also offers rental opportunities for birthdays, corporate meetings, private screenings, weddings, fundraisers, and community gatherings.
Beer and wine service remains available during select events and screenings, enhancing the guest experience while supporting SALA’s mission of creating a welcoming community entertainment destination.
