SAMIZDAT NEWS RELEASE
Samizdat Bookstore and Teahouse and Jillian Rubio invite the community to The Spill, an evening of live storytelling. The Spill will feature a lineup of local residents sharing true stories drawn from their own lives, bringing together a diverse group of voices for a night of reflection, humor, and connection.
Presented alongside the bookstore’s popular Monday Supper Club (known to regulars as “Bean Night”), The Spill will feature a curated lineup of storytellers whose experiences span a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life moments.
“Stories have a unique ability to bring people together,” said Rubio, creator and host of the event. “When we hear someone share an honest account of a moment that shaped them, we begin to see one another differently. We discover common experiences, gain new perspectives, and strengthen the connections that make a community thrive. This evening is an opportunity to gather, listen, and celebrate the stories that exist all around us.”
The event reflects Samizdat’s ongoing commitment to fostering community through shared experiences. For more information, visit Samizdat’s website at www.samizdatbookstore.com. Stay connected on social media for updates.
