Los Alamos Arts Council Announces Multiple Events For June 2026

It’s nearly June, and the Arts Council is kicking off the summer already! Our small but mighty team is up to everything from pre-concert lectures to increased social sewing to plein air painting at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op! (Not to mention: SUMMER CAMP!!   • Summer Camp is nearly here! As we transition from the school year into the break, summer camp will begin at the Fuller Lodge Art Center on June 1. Intended for rising first graders through rising sixth graders, these camps are offered in both the morning and the afternoon. Camps are themed differently each week for a wide variety of art-based fun, and range from Underwater Adventures to Theater Camp!   • RECENT CAMP ADDITIONS: We are excited to have just launched new family, teen, and ceramics camps this summer! Featuring themes like Whimsify Your Wardrobe, Plein Air Painting, and Wheel Throwing, these week-long* camps are perfect for the post-elementary youth in your life.   • Daytime Performance Series before LACA Concert: The Arts Council is proud to sponsor the pre-performance lecture by Brent Stevens immediately before the Isidore String Quartet concert hosted by the Los Alamos Concert Association on June 6th. The lecture will be free and open to the public, while the concert itself requires tickets from the Los Alamos Concert Association. For more information, see our website:

  • Exhibit Opening June 12th: The 4th Annual Come As You Are show will open on Friday, June 12th from 5-7 PM!   • Sewing & Painting & Crafting, Oh My! Adult classes are back!   • Samizdat Summer Crafting Series: We are proud to offer free activities for teens and families this summer! Join us Thursdays from 6-8 PM at Samizdat Bookstore & Teahouse for themed events including Junk Journaling, Slow Stitching & Mending, and Whimsify Your Wardrobe!
