LAHS Class of 2026 graduate Sam Nowell may be as strong (and stubborn) as an ox, but he is even stronger in his faith and character, living by the belief that anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Powered by faith and fueled by equal parts determination, horsepower, and perseverance, Sam is ready for what’s next. As he heads off to study Mechanical Engineering and shoot for the New Mexico State University Trap and Skeet Team, we can’t help but think the world better be ready for him too.

We are proud not only of all he has accomplished on the road to this graduation day, but even more proud of the young man he has become. Sam is the son of Anna and Jeremy Nowell.
