SALA NEWS RELEASE
LosAlamos.com has officially launched as a new locally built platform designed to help residents and visitors explore events, businesses, restaurants, trails, activities, and community information all in one place.
The website was created through a collaboration between SALA Event Center, LANet, Beehaus Design, and Places & Spaces Los Alamos. The goal is to provide a more organized and community-focused way to explore Los Alamos and White Rock online.
The platform includes local business listings, community events, interactive maps, and an AI-powered guide that helps users find places to eat, things to do, outdoor activities, and more.
“We wanted to create something built specifically for Los Alamos,” said Allan Saenz, owner of SALA Event Center and LANet. “A place where both locals and visitors can quickly find accurate and useful information about the community.”
Unlike larger search platforms, LosAlamos.com focuses entirely on the local area and aims to highlight locally owned businesses, organizations, events, and hidden gems that are often difficult to find online.
The project officially launched during a community event at SALA Event Center, where attendees were introduced to the platform and its features.
The team behind the project says the website will continue evolving over time with additional community resources, updated listings, and new tools based on public feedback.
