Los Alamos Police Department invites members of the community to run in the 2026 Torch Run! Runners gather at 7 a.m., May 28 at LAPD. The run starts at 7:30 a.m. sharp and finishes at Buffalo Thunder Resort at 11 a.m. Torch Run T-shirts are required for runners. They cost $25 and the proceeds benefit Special Olympics New Mexico. Shirts may be purchased from Det. Cindy Garcia (cash or checks made out to SONM). Lunch will be provided for all participants and those from LAPD who supported the event.
