We are writing to enthusiastically support Joe Granville for County Council. As his next-door neighbor for the past 10 years, we have had the opportunity to see firsthand the kind of person Joe is – thoughtful, hardworking, dependable, and deeply committed to our community. Good leadership requires someone who listens carefully, treats people respectfully, and follows through on commitments. We have watched Joe demonstrate those qualities, whether helping neighbors, volunteering or serving on community boards, or seeking practical solutions that benefit everyone.

Joe understands the everyday concerns facing families in our county, including housing, transit, public safety. He supports responsible growth while maintaining the quality of life that makes our community special and moving toward the county’s Climate Action Plan. Joe’s experience in housing design and construction has made him especially aware of practical solutions for desirable housing. For example, modern modular homes offer green building and energy efficiency and are available on a relatively short time scale in a community short on construction capacity.

Our county would benefit from leadership that is accessible, honest, and genuinely invested in the well-being of residents. We believe Joe would bring exactly that kind of leadership to the County Council.
