Los Alamos Youth Soccer League (LAYSL) is excited to announce competitive team tryouts for the 2026–2027 soccer season for boys and girls ages U9–U14.

Girls tryouts will take place on Wednesday, May 13 from 5:00–6:30 PM at the North Mesa soccer fields. Tryouts are open to all girls age groups U9 through U14 and will cover both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons. Questions regarding girls tryouts may be directed to matt.hemphill@gmail.com.

Boys tryouts will be held throughout May, with schedules posted on the LAYSL website and social media accounts, at various locations including North Mesa, Dara Jones, Community Field, Western Park, Rover Park, and Barranca Elementary. Players are encouraged to attend both scheduled tryout dates whenever possible. Questions regarding boys tryouts may be directed to Josh.mietz@gmail.com.

Beginning with the 2026–2027 soccer year, US Youth Soccer has transitioned from birth-year age groupings to school-year age brackets. Updated age group information is available through LAYSL.
