CO-OP SUMMER SHOWCASE NEWS RELEASE

The Inaugural Co-op Summer Showcase opens Friday May 15 at 6PM with the rock band, Baggage Claim. Concerts are located at Co-op Park at 1010 Central Ave at the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union. This free concert series offers music from local musicians at an outside venue as opening acts for the main Friday concert series. This is a true community concert series that features only local musicians.

The purpose of this series is to build community spirit and to raise awareness for a new non profit organization that will bring local music events such as this series and the Winter Rock Festival. Shows are Friday evenings, typically from 5:45 – 6:30 p.m. A short walk will bring you from this stage to Ashley Pond in time for the larger concerts.

Come enjoy the local music and support the food and vendors there. If you are
interested in supporting the organization, perform at the series, be a vendor, or help with
