Los Alamos Police Department evaluated some1,523 cars in a DUI checkpoint Thursday, April 30 on Diamond Drive, according to Deputy Chief James Rodriguez.
“No citations were issued, but three people were pulled over to secondary for evaluation, four warnings were issued, and four vehicles attempted to turn around in the roadblock,” Rodriguez said. “There were no DUI arrests.”
Seventeen officers were present for the checkpoint, which lasted 5.5 hours and was closed early due to heavy rainfall.
