Jenn Hite got her idea to place a pop-up bakery on her front porch from the concept of farm produce stands she has seen in the past. Hite has always liked baking and has recently started “mixing things up” with sweet and savory from scratch recipes.

She plans to have a few items such as banana and zucchini breads available on a regular basis while adding various types of cookies including Lemon Lavender, which are a bog hit. Located at 2241 34th Street, near Aspen Elementary School in Los Alamos, Hite hopes to capture some of the after school traffic with treats that parents with busy schedules to pick up take with them. Many of the items use lower sugar recipes while maintaining their great flavor.
