Preslee Robinson, who invited Sen, Jaramillo to Pinon Elementary School, asks him one of many interesting questions about his life and his work in the State Senate. Preslee wrote to Sen. Jaramillo and told him about the project she was working on and that she hoped he could help with. “You can do anything as simple as writing me a letter, you can call me. You can even ask your student council sponsor how to go about making changes in your school. You can do anything by just taking a little bit of action,” Sen. Jaramillo told the students. A former teacher and coach, it was obvious how much Sen. Jaramillo enjoyed his time with the Pinon Panthers. ‘Small things lead to bigger things. So even though you think it’s a little thing you’re doing, it can make a big difference for you or someone else,’ he told the students. ‘Small things lead to extraordinary things’.
