A meeting will be held this Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Canjilon Community Center, 401 State Road 115 Canjilon. Senator Ben Ray Luján and Rio Arriba Commission Chairman Moises Morales are inviting all community members, farmers, ranchers, producers, acequia and Land Grant members, Tribal and local leaders.

The topic: discussing concerns regarding the proposed Uranium Exploratory Mine and NEXT STEPS on how to protect Chama Watershed! We hope you can attend, but if you can’t – know we will be attending and will report on the meeting outcome.
