YMCA NEWS RELEASE
The YMCA is excited to announce the launch of its all-new NFL Flag Football League, offering young athletes an engaging and inclusive way to stay active this summer. The league will feature two age divisions: a coed division for ages 10–12 and a dedicated girls’ division for ages 12–17, creating opportunities for skill development, teamwork, and confidence-building in a fun, non-contact environment. The girls’ division will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at either Urban or Rover, while the 10–12 coed division will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m at either Urban or Rover.
The season will run from June 8 through July 31, with registration open now through May 24. Program fees are $120 for YMCA members and $150 for non-members. Official jerseys and flags will be provided, though athletes are required to provide their own mouthguards.
This new league reflects the YMCA’s continued commitment to youth development and expanding access to organized sports within the community.
