The Los Alamos Community Foundation, in partnership with JJAB and Samizdat, is hosting a Teen ABC Suicide Prevention Training designed to equip local youth with practical tools to support one another. Centered on the message “Ask, Be Present, Connect,” the session will guide students through recognizing warning signs, starting meaningful conversations, and linking peers to help.

The training will take place at Samizdat Bookstore and Teahouse on Wednesday, May 13 from 5:00–6:30 p.m., and is open to students in grades 9–12. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A and receive a free boba coupon upon completion, encouraging both connection and community support. There is room for up to 30 students, so please make sure you arrive a bit early if you’d like to participate.
