Abiquiu Inn Announces 2026/2027 Sculpture Walk & Garden Featuring More Than 200 Works By 61 Acclaimed Artists

ABIQUIU INN NEWS RELEASE

Abiquiu Inn is proud to announce the opening of its highly anticipated 2026/2027  Sculpture Walk & Garden, an immersive outdoor exhibition showcasing over 200 sculptures by 61 acclaimed artists from across the region and across the United States.

Now in its 9th year, Abiquiu Inn Sculpture Walk & Garden has grown into a premier annual art event in Northern New Mexico, offering collectors, art lovers, and visitors a rare opportunity to engage with a compelling blend of traditional and contemporary sculpture in a variety of mediums, including metal, stone, bronze, wood, and mixed media. Set against the breathtaking landscape of northern New Mexico, the exhibition extends throughout the grounds of Abiquiu Inn—from the O’Keeffe Welcome Center to the shaded terraces and into the curated sculpture garden as well as under the majestic cottonwoods—creating a dynamic and contemplative journey through nature and art.

Enhancing the visitor experience, guests can also enjoy a self-guided audio tour powered by Otocast, allowing them to hear directly from participating artists about their inspirations, processes, and the stories behind their work. This interactive feature brings a deeper level of engagement, offering personal insights that enrich the journey through the Sculpture Walk & Garden.

The exhibition will officially open with a Champagne Reception on Sunday, May 31, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet participating artists, engage with the creative community, and enjoy an afternoon of art, conversation, music and celebration.

“This year’s Sculpture Walk & Garden represents an extraordinary gathering of artistic talent,” said Colin Noble, CEO of Noble Hospitality and owner of Abiquiu Inn. “We are honored to provide a space where art, landscape. and   community come together in such a meaningful and inspiring way.”

Abiquiu Inn Sculpture Walk and Garden has become one of the largest and most beautiful sculpture gardens in the United States, a real boost for New Mexico tourism, art and its artists.

The Sculpture Walk & Garden will be open to the public throughout the 2026/2027 season. Visitors, collectors, and art enthusiasts are encouraged to explore the exhibition and experience the evolving dialogue between sculpture and the natural surroundings.
