LAAC NEWS RELEASE
The Los Alamos Arts Council & the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico present “Let’s Go Fly A Kite”, a paint-out and show at the Fuller Lodge Art Center Gallery. You may have seen the 28 local and regional participants painting out in our community last week and at the 30th Annual Kite Festival, now come down to the Art Center and see the fruits of their labor.
This show will exclusively feature work from the paint out, including several artists who painted the various kites and their fliers flown in Overlook Park this weekend. Commemorate the occasion by taking a one-of-a-kind souvenir home.
Let’s Go Fly a Kite will open on Friday, May 1. There will be a reception open to LAAC members starting from 4:30-5:30 PM, and the general public will be welcome from 5:30 to 7 PM. Light refreshments will be served.
The show will hang from May 1st – May 29th in the Fuller Lodge Art Center.
We hope to see you soon!
