Participate in one of the oldest, continuously running triathlons, now celebrating 52 years!
The 2026 Triathlon will be virtual, due to the main pool replaster project. Run, Bike, Swim on your schedule and your choosen route! Just make sure you have your times submitted by July 17th, 2026, by 5pm.
52nd ANNUAL LOS ALAMOS TRIATHLON
Distances:
- 20K Bike
- 400m Swim
- 5K Run
Race/Age Categories: Age as of Dec. 31, 2026
- Individuals: 15 –20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-69, 70+
- Teams: All Male, All Female, or Coed 19 & under, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60+
- Elite: Male & Female, No age category
- Clydesdale*: Men 220+ lbs.
- Athena*: Women 165+ lbs.
Fees:
- Individual: $50
- 2-Person Team: $90
- 3-Person Team: $120
All entry fees are non-refundable. Race is limited to 175 competitors
8th ANNUAL JR TRIATHLON
This is an abbreviated sprint triathlon course, which allows our junior competitors to transition from the Kids Triathlon into a competitive and timed triathlon.
Distances:
- 6.4K Bike
- 200m Pool Swi
- 2.4K Run
Age: 10 – 16 as of Dec. 31, 2026
Fees:
- Individual: $30
All entry fees are non-refundable. Race is limited to a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 50 competitors.
Award Ceremony:
- Satuday, July 18, 2026
- Ashley Pond Park, by the waterfall
- 11am – 12pm
We will announce the times and awards for those that placed in the top 3 of their categories and handing out Swag bags to all participants. Times will also be recorded on the Jackrabbit Racing site.
