On Tuesday, the Los Alamos Fire Department proudly recognized Driver Engineer Daniel ‘Archie’ Archuleta,for more than 20 years of dedicated service to the Los Alamos Fire Department and the community he so faithfully served.

Throughout his career, Archie has been known not only for his exceptional skill behind the wheel and at the pump, but for the way he took care of his crew. Whether it was making sure the coffee was ready in the early hours or offering steady guidance on the fireground, he always put others first.

Archie’s passion for the fire service and commitment to the brotherhood were evident in everything he did—even on the toughest days. He brought energy, humor, and heart to every shift, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Thank you, Archie, for your years of service, leadership, and dedication. Your legacy at LAFD will not be forgotten.
