Closing Out February with Film, Conversation, and Community

SALA Los Alamos Event Center closes out the month of February with a full week of films, community dialogue, and special events for all ages, running February 23 through March 1.

On Tuesday, February 24 at 6:30 PM, SALA hosts the Community Health Forum, a panel discussion focused on health and wellness in Northern New Mexico. This event brings together voices from across the community to explore challenges, innovations, and opportunities shaping the region’s health landscape. The forum is sponsored by Los Alamos Community Foundation, League of Women Voters, and Ancorum Health Foundation.

From Friday, February 27 through Sunday, March 1, SALA continues its New Reels programming, sponsored by Casa Los Alamos. Audiences can catch I Can Only Imagine 2, which is still showing, and the premiere of EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert. Showtimes run Friday and Saturday at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Showtimes may vary.

On Saturday, February 28 at 6:30 PM, SALA presents a beloved romantic comedy in its Classics series: Sleepless in Seattle, sponsored by Wiemann Wealth.

Later that evening, from 7:30 to 11:00 PM, SALA hosts Teen Movie Night, featuring a free screening of Warm Bodies.
