Obituary: Frances Beatrice DiMarco Dec. 29, 1940 – Feb. 20, 2026

Frances Beatrice DiMarco, 85, of Roswell, GA passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was born on December 29, 1940 in Queens Village, NY to Fortunato Alberto Lino and Beatrice Lino. She graduated from St. Agnes Academic High School, where she formed the Foundation of her strong work ethic.

In 1963, Frances married the love of her life, Joseph DiMarco. In 1964, they moved to Los Alamos, NM where they built a life rooted in family, friendship, and community. They shared 46 devoted years of marriage until his passing in 2009.

Frances began her professional career as an event and meeting planner at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and professionalism led her to become a Certified Meeting Planner. After retiring from the Laboratory, she launched her own meeting planning business in Albuquerque, where she continued to thrive in her field and mentor others.

Throughout her career and retirement, Frances remained deeply engaged in her community. In Los Alamos, she served on the Los Alamos County Lodgers Tax Advisory Board and was an active member of Los Alamos Business & Professional Women. After moving to Albuquerque in 1998, she became involved with numerous civic organizations, including the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque and the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. She served as a board member of Meeting and Event Planners and Suppliers of New Mexico and as President of the New Mexico Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She was also a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Rio Grande Minority Supplier Development Council.

Fran had a deep passion for her grandchildren, her dogs, the arts and traveling. She and Joe traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, creating cherished memories along the way.

She cherished her lifelong friendships and family, maintaining close bonds that lasted a lifetime. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Fortunato Alberto Lino and Beatrice Lino, and by her beloved husband, Joseph DiMarco. She is survived by her daughters, Joann Rosinski; Donna Holland (Daniel); and Leah DiMarco (Jonathan Clark); and her treasured grandchildren, Alex and Erica, and Lauren and Lindsey.

Frances will always be remembered for her spirited personality and her warmth, grace, tireless dedication, and the love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy of service, friendship, and devotion will live on in all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
