DPU Voice Of The Customer Survey Now Underway

COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is inviting customers to take part in its 2026 Voice of the Customer Survey, which launches Tuesday. The annual survey helps DPU measure customer satisfaction in areas such as service quality, reliability, and overall engagement.

Utility Manager Philo Shelton encourages customers to take a few minutes to share their thoughts. “Customer input drives how we improve our operations and customer experience,” Shelton said. “We appreciate every response that helps us better serve our community.”

This year’s survey is being conducted by GreatBlue Research via email, online links, and phone interviews. Randomly selected utility account holders will begin receiving invitations by email this week. Customers are welcome to simply go straight to the survey links online if they prefer. Starting Tuesday, you can complete the survey at the following links: ladpu.com/RVOC for residential customers, and ladpu.com/CVOC for commercial customers.

Survey results help DPU’s leadership team identify opportunities for improvement, compare performance with other utilities, and guide ongoing efforts to be responsive, efficient, and transparent. GreatBlue will also provide recommendations based on the findings.

The Voice of the Customer Survey runs from Tuesday, January 13, through Tuesday, February 17. Telephone outreach to commercial customers is scheduled for Monday, February 2, through Tuesday, February 17.

DPU also conducts a year-round transactional survey for customers who have recently interacted with staff. That survey can be accessed anytime at https://ladpu.com/123.
