Your First Telescope! Free Introductory Program Oct. 17 At The Los Alamos Nature Center

Curious about buying your first telescope but unsure where to start? The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) invites aspiring stargazers to attend Your First Telescope!, a free, beginner-friendly program on Friday, October 17 from 7 to 8 PM at the Los Alamos Nature Center Planetarium.

During this engaging presentation, participants will:

● Learn about the main types of telescopes and their characteristics
● Compare the pros and cons of different models
● Explore tips and resources to help choose the perfect instrument for observing
the night sky

The doors open at 6:45 PM, and admission is free. While all are welcome, planetarium
events are generally not recommended for children under 5.
