BARBERSHOP NEWS

Come join the Lasses and Lads of Enchantment and the Santa Fe Harmonizers for their annual barbershop performances, this year on October 17 (Santa Fe) and October 18 (Los Alamos). This year’s theme, movies and Broadway, will be sure to bring a smile to your face and keep your feet tapping long after the show is over.

It is our privilege to introduce you to our guest quartet, the 7th Street Quartet from Houston, where they will be debuting after winning the 2024 Southwestern District Mixed Harmony Quartet Championship title. Their objective is to bring people together to make beautiful music and inspire audiences. The foursome comprises Heather Cryer—tenor, Drew Prince—lead, Aaron Turner—baritone, and Travis Gidley—bass. For a sample of their amazing vocals, visit http://www.7thstreetquartet.com. With a bit of prodding, they may be willing to sing one of their iconic songs, Cruella DeVille, from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians!

October 17’s show will be held in Santa Fe at St. John’s United Methodist Church (1200 Pecos Trail) at 7 pm; October 18’s show will be held in Los Alamos at the United Church (2525 Canyon Road) at 2 pm. Tickets will be $20, with students 13 and up just $5 and kids under 13 free. Join us afterward for the Afterglow, (Santa Fe performance only) which, besides providing free light snacks and drinks, will feature additional songs from featured quartets in a more laidback atmosphere. See you there!
