Local craft aficionado and educator Sue Souza wants to give the people of Los Alamos and White Rock a local opportunity to celebrate music icon, Taylor Swift. This Friday, Taylor releases her newest album and Designs by Sue is offering a Swiftie Friendship Bracelet class at Film Festival this weekend.
From 10 a.m.–2 p.m., this Saturday and Sunday, Film Festival will host a drop-in event for fans of all ages. All bracelet supplies are provided for the nominal fee of $3 each or 4 for $10. Souza will walk first timers or newbies to the friendship bracelet phenomena through the entire process.
Each bracelet creator will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. Souza even has Swift’s new songs available in pre-made packages, so fans can be assured of the opportunity to make their favorite. If you’re more of an old school fan, she’ll be ready for you too. “Come to Film Festival and enjoy Taylor Swift’s music and make friendship bracelets for yourself and friends,” said Souza.
Come celebrate the launch of “Life of a Showgirl,” with Sue and Film Festival located at 3801 Arkansas.
