The New Mexico Child Advocate Selection Committee, which is charged with recommending an appointee to lead the Office of the Child Advocate, has officially opened the application process. Interested parties may apply here.
Public comment from the committee’s meeting on Sept. 5 was taken into consideration in finalizing the position description.
The job posting was officially opened on Friday. Sept. 12. The application deadline is Friday, October 31, 2025.
