Family Strengths Network (FSN) and title sponsor N3B Los Alamos invite the community to attend FSN’s primary annual fundraiser, Lucky Ducky Day (LDD) on September 27. LDD will include carnival games, a silent auction and raffle, rubber duck races, face painting, bounce houses, a photo booth, craft, and more. Last year, nearly 500 people attended LDD. For the first time this year, it will be held at Ashley Pond.

There is the option to pre-register by visiting lafsn.org/store. By pre-registering, you can skip the line at the event. Admission is $10/person. Participants also have the option to purchase a souvenir racer duck to take home at $5/duck. Proceeds will support FSN’s mission and work in the community.

The silent auction will include donations from local and regional businesses and individuals, such as gift cards, artwork, food items, toys, passes/vouchers, and much more. New this year: the silent auction will be done online through GalaBid! Participants can use their smart phones to bid on items at the event, or from the comfort of their own home! The silent auction will close at 2:30 PM.

Participants can play carnival games for small prizes, and will have unlimited chances to win raffle tickets in the duck races. The raffle drawings will take place at 2:00 PM for gift basket prizes.

Lucky Ducky Day will be Saturday, September 27 from 10 AM until 2 PM, at Ashley Pond in Los Alamos.

Family Strengths Network is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides children’s programs, parenting classes, support groups, and family friendly events to all types of families in the community. Most programs are offered at no cost, thanks to grants, sponsorships, and
donations.
