My name is Conner Tiffani Tharp and earlier this year I was honored to be appointed to the UNM-Los Alamos Advisory board, and this November I’ll be on the ballot for a four-year term. 

Since earning my undergraduate degree in 2016 and then completing my graduate degree in December 2024, I’ve experienced how much higher education has changed in just a few short years. Those changes reminded me how important it is for colleges to meet students where they are with accessible opportunities for learners of all ages and backgrounds. 

I believe UNM-Los Alamos is at the forefront of that work in our community, and I am grateful to be part of the effort to strengthen its voice, its partnerships, and its impact here in Los Alamos. 

I would be honored to continue serving our community with your support at the ballot box this November.
