Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Athletic Director Guy Meyer has been selected as the Northeast Region Athletic Director of the Year for the 2024-2025 school year. 

He was presented the award by the New Mexico Athletic Directors Association during its summer conference recently in Albuquerque. Meyer was nominated by his peers for consideration by the awards committee.

“It is a great honor to be recognized by the NMAA,” Meyer said. “This award also represents the hard work and dedication of the athletics department team – Doug Weiss, Sarah Morgan, Artie Rodriguez-Gonzalez and Mick Matuszak. The athletic department’s success would not be possible without the dedication of our amazing coaches and the support of the high school and district leadership teams.”

Meyer joined LAHS as the Assistant Athletic Director at the start of the 2023-2024 school year. He was named Athletic Director in the spring of 2024.
