SALA Los Alamos Event Center invites the public to a free screening of the powerful, award-winning documentary The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel on Thursday, August 14, at 6:00 PM as part of its ongoing Parallel Cinema series.
The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel tells the astonishing true story of a German violinist drafted into Hitler’s army who, against overwhelming odds, survived the front lines, protected Jewish colleagues, and ultimately became a U.S. government agent. Told in his own words at age 95, Ertel’s story is a moving portrait of courage, compassion, and moral conviction.
