Don’t miss the Black Pearl Band, this Friday, August 8, Los Alamos County Summer Concert Series’ Nuevo Mexico Night, FREE concert at Ashley Pond Park!

The Black Pearl Band is the New Mexico Hispano Band of the Year, a nine-piece horn-driven band performing R&B, Old School, Top 40, Country, Rancheras, Cumbias, and Waltz. Nuevo Mexico Night is always one of our best-attended concert events, bring out your NM flags and cool cars of any era!

Nuevo Mexico Night is sponsored and supported by UNM-Los Alamos, a branch campus of The University of New Mexico, the state’s flagship university. They are known for a student-to-faculty ratio of 18:1 and instructors who also work in the fields in which they teach. They offer the type of hands-on learning usually available at a private college but at a community college price.

Entertainment starts at 6pm with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association’s Mariachi Estrella, the the Black Pearl Band performs at 7pm.
