STEAM LAB NEWS RELEASE
STEAM Lab is excited to start out the school year in our new, larger space. Our new location allows us more opportunities for long term projects, bigger messes, and new adventure area designed to get out after school energy.
Families can enroll for any number of days per week and sibling discounts apply.
Each day of the week has a different theme so that we can keep things fresh for kiddos coming every day or provide something special to those who only want to come one day a week. Alongside the theme we always have Lego, Magnatiles, trains, board games, books, and our adventure area open for play.

Monday – Trains
We’ll pull out all of our Duplo trains and build tracks all over the floor. Once a month or so, we’ll step it up by adding coding elements that control the trains and switches.
Tuesday – All Things Coding
Beginning Coding, Robots, Game Design, everything! We have plenty of activities for emerging readers all the way through experienced coders.
Wednesday – Adventure Day
We’ll lay out obstacle courses, set up challenges on the bouldering wall, and overall just move our bodies in fun and challenging ways.
Thursday – Minecraft and Mario Kart
We’ll get kiddos together to play Minecraft! This time they will play together on the Hive (a public server) or locally in their own worlds. We’ll also run the occasional Mario Kart tourney or play something else on the Switchif there is enough interest.
Friday – Arts and Crafts ($10 monthly supply fee)
We’ll pull out the perler beads and rubber band loom, find some jewelry findings and origami paper and have crafts each week. We may also play with procreate using apple pencils, learning how to use layers, masks, and the like.
