The League of Women Voters’ monthly community event, Lunch with a Leader, will have Liz Martineau, speak from noon-1PM, on July 17 at the Unitarian Fellowship Hall on Sage. Please arrive at 11:45 as our presentation will begin at noon. You are welcome to bring a lunch. Water is provided.
Liz Martineau is the Executive Director of the Los Alamos Community Foundation. She also serves on the Historic Preservation Advisory Board and J.Robert Oppenheimer Memorial Committee. She previously worked with the Historical Society, Visit Los Alamos, served on many nonprofit boards, and taught school for 15 years. In her free time, she is a fiber and book artist who also enjoys camping, hiking, and teaching.
She will speak about the work of the Los Alamos Community Foundation and the new Los Alamos Uniting for Community Health (LAUNCH) initiative. She will focus on current and potential partnerships and how you may become involved. Her goal is that together, we will ensure Los Alamos remains a healthy place to live!
