Adam Sheehan, age 11, has been obsessed with football (soccer) from the minute he could walk. He joined Springfield Ramblers in Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland when he was 5 years old. This season he played u12, and was also called up to the u13 age group, and he helped both teams to promotion. At Wednesday night’s Springfield Ramblers awards night, Adam won ‘Player of the Year’. He is the son of Clodagh and Tommy Sheehan, and grand-nephew of Maire O’Neill of the Los Alamos Reporter.
