In celebration of ScienceFest 2025, the Los Alamos Retired & Senior Organization, Los Alamos Teen Center, and Samizdat Bookstore and Teahouse are pleased to present Science of Tea on Sunday, June 22 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center.

This year’s theme is Boston Tea Party and explores the connections between science and history! You’ll savor five unique teas carefully selected by Samizdat staff. Each tea is paired with a delicious refreshment prepared by LARSO chefs. These small bites range from savory to sweet and are made to highlight the distinct flavor profile of each tea.

Costumes are highly encouraged! Join staff and volunteers in dressing up as we enjoy learning about food and science in a fun atmosphere. This adventure begins in late 18th-century America, but don’t let that limit your creativity. We want to see your best take on a retro-futuristic American Revolution.

Tickets are $10, please reserve your seat at Science of Tea at https://bit.ly/3HHP7RV. This event is possible thanks to a generous sponsorship from Los Alamos MainStreet.
