COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

The lobby-facing windows at the Los Alamos County Customer Care Center in the Municipal Building as well as the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) suite will be closed for 2.5 hours during the business day on Wednesday, June 18, between 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., while staff attends an annual employee picnic.

Additionally, DPU and the Customer Care Center will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday.

The Customer Care Center and DPU are typically open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Staff will respond to voice mail and email messages when they return to the office. Those customers who prefer to interact with staff in person should plan to do so outside of the scheduled closures.
