Family Strengths Network (FSN) is excited to introduce to the community the new Executive
Director, Jen Demas! Jen has been the program coordinator for FSN for more than a year, leading Toddler Craft, Family Yoga/Move With Me, Monthly Playdates, and Toddler Tunes. With an extensive background in working with children in a variety of settings, she’s been a fan favorite during her time here and has the superpower of connecting with kids of all ages.

In addition to FSN, Jen has worked in childcare for 20 years – as a preschool teacher, a direct care specialist in a hospital for kids with special needs, an ABA therapy assistant, a children’s
yoga business owner, and more.

Jen’s family includes her husband Jordan and their two daughters: Carly, 10, and Rose, 7. She met her husband Jordan in college playing rugby, a sport that continues to play a significant role in their lives. They are also active in Los Alamos Little League with both their girls in softball and whose teams Jen and Jordan have helped coach.

Of FSN, Jen says “I love how it brings people together and helps families find their place in our community. I love that we have so many wonderful resources and so much amazing information to share!” In her new role as Executive Director, she looks forward to being a more active member of the community and advocating for the families here. She is excited to get to know community members more and to watch FSN continue to grow.
