Priscila Rosa and Sean Thomas tied for top predictor in the weekly pace race held on Arizona Avenue and the Mitchell Trail at 2 seconds off their predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Felix Candia with a 3 second differential; Zach Medin recording a 14 second difference; 9-year-old Max Hanson at 15 seconds off; and Susan Hanson with a 16 second differential.
Hal Marshall was the first finisher on the 1-mile paved distance at 11:03 and the best female was Becky Chamberlin with a time of 12:00.
On the 3-mile Hybrid course (paved and trail) Paul Geimer was the top finisher recording a 20:35 and the first female was Lynn Bjorklund at 28:19.
Next week’s race will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, and will start at Fireman’s Park on the corner of 45th Street and Arizona Avenue. 1-mile paved and 3-mile Hybrid (paved and trail) courses will be available.
