PEEC NEWS
Nature enthusiasts are invited to join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) for free Wildflower Walks led by local expert Craig Martin on Monday evenings, May 19 and June 16, 2025. These easy walks will take place from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and offer a chance to identify and appreciate the beauty of local wildflowers.
Participants will meet at the Los Alamos Nature Center, located at 2600 Canyon Road, Los Alamos, to check in and carpool to the trailhead. Craig Martin will scout local trails ahead of time to find the best blooming wildflower locations for the walk.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, learn from an expert, and explore the vibrant local flora in a relaxed and educational setting.
The event is free, but space is limited. Early registration is encouraged as an email will be sent out to everyone registered with more details leading up to the event.
For more information, visit PEEC’s website at peecnature.org/events. Stay connected on social media for updates on each week’s activities.
