Governor Vetoes 16 Bills From 2025 Legislature

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday vetoed 16 bills from the 2025 legislative session.

The vetoed bills include:

  • HB 077: Annual Federal SNAP State Outreach Plans 
  • HB 120: Accessibility of State Agencies 
  • HB 143: Lobbying Activity Reports 
  • HB 181: State Trust Program Accountability Plan 
  • HB 191: Wildfire Suppression & Preparedness Funds 
  • HB 219: Slot Canyon Riverlands State Park 
  • HB 269: Health Care Authority Visit Verification 
  • HB 433: Study Career & Tech Education 
  • HB 494: Tax Exemptions for Veterans 
  • SB 142: Grid Modernization Roadmap 
  • SB 220: Publication Of Legal Settlement Terms 
  • SB 315: State Bread 
  • SB 327: Lowrider Capital License Plate 
  • SB 377: NM United License Plate
