Two Knitting Classes Coming Up At Close-Knit Yarn Co-Op

Close Knit Yarn’s next session of Learn to Knit will be Sunday, April 13, from 2-5 PM.   Expert instructor Mary will teach you the basics of knitting in a safe and supportive environment.   This class costs $40, all materials are included, and no prior experience is necessary.  If you know someone who wants to learn to knit, steer them here!  Reserve a spot in-store or online at https://close-knit-yarn-cooperative.shoplightspeed.com/learn-to-knit-class-4-13.html Remember that classes with no enrollees 48 hours prior to start will be canceled. As the weather heats up, lots of us start thinking about warm-weather knitting–short sleeves (or no sleeves at all), loose fits, and cotton yarns.  Join us for an introductory class where Doris will guide you in swatching and planning for a Seiche tank.  This simple pattern from Knitscene works beautifully and knits up quickly in Ultra Pima. Prerequisites: this class is suitable for the intermediate knitter who can knit and purl and is comfortable working in the round. This two-hour, single-session class is FREE with purchase of materials and will be held Saturday, May 3, from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM.
