This Saturday, March 29, the Los Alamos Co-op Market will celebrate its 14th birthday. Head to 95 Entrada Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for plenty of fun and food, including:
Enjoy a free slice of cake (while they last). Our first 100 customers will receive a free reusable bag, and the first five customers to spend $50 or more will take home a free six-inch cake from Chocolate Maven.
You do not have to be a member of the Co-Op to enjoy the birthday celebration, but all Co-op members will receive 14 percent off their purchase on Saturday.
Through April 1, spend $50 or more and enter our raffle to win a gift basket filled with Co-Op goodies.
Community salsa competition
Have a great homemade salsa recipe? Let’s put it to the test! Enter our birthday salsa competition. Bring your salsa to the Co-Op by 11 a.m. on March 29. The winner will be determined by popular vote and will take home a gift basket filled with Co-Op goodies. Pre-registration is not required.
Smash burger and Philly cheesesteaks
We’ll be grilling our famous Smash burgers outside on the patio and will have Philly cheesesteaks available inside. Vegetarian options will also be available. A burger or cheesesteak plus a side (chips or potato salad) plus a drink will be $14.99.

Pet adoption
Animals from the Los Alamos County Animal Shelter will be available to adopt—for free.
