Discover traditional ways to make beautiful paint and dye from nature and household items.

What: Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA) will teach the art and science of transforming natural materials into vibrant pigments and use them to create stunning watercolor artwork in a hands-on workshop held at Los Luceros Historic Site. The workshop is open to both seasoned artists and curious beginners and offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and explore sustainable art practices.
